![]() Premeditated crimes are fixed, but each of the 11 standard areas of Gotham City only have a set number of crimes that can be solved per night. So, it’s important that you don’t waste your time by forgetting to interrogate enemies or solving nothing but low-level, opportunistic crimes. Gotham Knights restricts the amount of crime fighting that you can do each night, so after the limit has been reached, you’ll need to return to the Belfry to transition to the next day if you want to find more crimes to fight. This tip may seem obvious, but fighting crime grants XP, resources, and opportunities to complete Momentum and Knighthood challenges, while interrogations open up new crime-stopping opportunities. ![]() You’ll meet Lucius around Case File 2.1 in the main story, so make progress in the main plot until Alfred tells you to meet up with Lucius.ĭo as much crime fighting as possible during your first few nights on patrol. ![]() All you need to do is scan a few marked drones scattered around the city. These missions aren’t exactly exciting or engaging, but after they’re complete, you’ll have eight places that you can fast travel to. You can do all drone missions in a single night to unlock fast travel as quickly as possible. To unlock fast travel, speak to Lucius Fox to begin the drone-related missions. This is something that’s easily missable if you decide not to do the missions required to earn fast travel options. This is where fast travel comes into play. You won’t always want to drive around Gotham City on the Batcycle or jump from rooftop to rooftop to get around. Some tutorials are mandatory, so you’ll find your way to the training area eventually, whether you want to be there or not. Do all of the tutorials to learn useful tips like, for example, how to use smoke bombs with Robin to escape tough brawls, or how to interrogate criminals – a necessary action when trying to find clues for premeditated crimes. The training area is found on the left side of the room, next to the practice dummy. This may sound a bit uninteresting, but the tutorials will reward you with XP while teaching you the most important aspects of Gotham Knights’ combat. The Belfry is the main base of operations for the Batfamily, and it contains a whole augmented reality training area with a list of tutorials. Momentum Abilities will make fights much easier, so there’s no reason not to do the tasks whenever you can, especially since they’re mostly combat-focused tests like defeating a certain number of a specific enemy type. ![]() You can complete them as they pop up to gradually unlock more combat options for your character, even while trying to obtain Knighthood at the same time. Once you’ve unlocked Knighthood, focus on completing any leftover Momentum Ability tasks that are found in the Challenges tab of the Batcomputer menu.Įarly on in the game, these tasks will show up one by one as you progress. Each Knight has their own unique Momentum Abilities, including an unlockable 'super' ability that’s on a cooldown timer. Momentum Abilities are special moves that can be used in combat when the momentum meter fills up. These new forms of aerial traversal include short-range teleports, gliding, and special platforms that complement the grappling hook that each Knight already has access to. Unlocking Knighthood also allows you to use Heroic Mobility skills that will make it far easier to traverse Gotham City. These challenges will take more than one night to complete because some task you with stopping premeditated crimes, which need to first be discovered through criminal interrogations one night, then stopped on the following night. ![]() Now, even as they struggle to hold together a realm that may yet tear itself apart, the Kingsguard must resolve fundamental questions of purpose and identity.Knighthood is unlocked by completing the Knighthood Challenges that appear on the Batcomputer after you’ve finished your first night on patrol in Gotham.
